Slow Is The Moon To Wane (Sla Je Arm Om Me Heen)

Slow is the moon, to wane

The stillness of night
Marked by a dim, pale top
Long during hours that creep by to stop

Wondering why
Dry the forest grounds lie
I move with wind's flow under the canopy
Knowing the fortress is darkened for me

Slow is the moon to wane
Dark trees live without rain
Another realm and hidden on the Ley Line
Slow is the moon to wane
Strange is the very name
Rebound to wood and vine

I take nearby paths
A sole presence of drafts
A place, a pale stone standing as if dormant

Marbled wall beyond
Of what was once, deep pond
The dream has been waking and descends through glen
Even, uneven, it hearkens to then

Slow is the moon to wane
Black branches outline fane
In the soft, silent clearing time does not pass
Slow is the moon to wane
Deep is the glow of pane
In the dim shade of glass

Where's the hidden door?
Where's the way?
Past a gate, crumbled floor
I saw past castle north
Where days went forth
Evening is aglow
The night is so slow
Where's the Sea of Clouds?
The name I've heard before
Druid songs from the moor
Where's the way?
Full moon stayed, nothing changed

Waxing in light, in the glow of the moon

Slow is the moon to wane
Dark trees live without rain
Another realm and hidden on the Ley Line
Slow is the moon to wane
Strange is the very name
Rebound to wood and vine

Slow is the moon to wane
Deep is the glow of fane
Slow is the moon to wane
